KAPC has many partners, some of which are listed below. We partner for different activities with each partner e.g. funding courses, sponsorship of students to courses, consultancy:

British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) – the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy is a long professional friend of KAPC. They send us journals such as the ‘therapy today’ and invite us to their annual conferences and for publication of papers. In 2005 we co hosted their annual research conference and two of our MA students attended. Previously we advertised our 9th conference in their journal ‘therapy today’ as well as in their conference and also invited one of their key member who is a counselling research expert to give a keynote address in our conference. KAPC directors often work as reviewers for some of the BACP conference abstracts.

Pathfinder is a long partner of KAPC and has collaborated in the area of counselling training for various health personnel in the Ministry of health

Pathfinder International has supported reproductive health and family planning services and training in Kenya since 1969. Over the years, by working closely with more than 60 nongovernmental and community-based organizations, government agencies, and public and private sector institutions, Pathfinder has reached some of Kenya’s poorest communities with reproductive health information and services, including contraceptives and counseling in maternal and child health care. Today, Kenya has one of the most mature and successful family planning programs in Africa, with modern contraceptive methods used by 39 percent of married women (high by African standards).

In recent years, Pathfinder’s work in Kenya has responded to the country’s high rate of HIV infection, currently estimated at 6.1 percent and close to 9 percent among women. Today, Pathfinder integrates HIV/AIDS prevention and care with quality reproductive health and family planning activities, bringing these services to the most vulnerable women who are least likely to have access to quality care.
